Community oncology nurse will provide care for cancer patients from ‘cradle to grave’ in their geographical areas. Their aim is to provide shared nursing care to acute cancer patients at home. Oncology nurses were provided with training and support that educate them with knowledge and skill development to provide safe care at home for patients undergoing systemic cancer therapy.
